Cityscape

I walked out this morning to paint before going to work. Didn't really have a whole lot of time so I had to chose something to paint quickly. As I walked towards the nearby park I noticed morning light falling on young branches and creating interesting highlights against the darker silhouette of the house. I stopped in my tracks and though of painting it, but I really hate to set up on sidewalks. There are just too many curious passerbys and peering eyes from neighboring windows. That is why I prefer to paint in the parks in more secluded spots. But today I mustered courage, set my easel up and painted with out care. Life is too short to deny yourself freedom.

I was at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) the other day. I saw a bear and a tiger.
