Merry Christmas

I am not a winter person, but New Years and Christmas time was always dear to my heart.

So to keep this holiday spirit going I would like to thank all of you who stop by and visit my blog. I am giving away 3 of my paintings posted below. All you have to do is leave a comment in this post. I will then randomly choose three winners who will receive one painting each :)

I wish all of you happy holidays, good health all the best in the New Year!

I like the way you do the glass and the metalic tones! Very beautifull and sensitive the landscape!

All very nice but I really like the peaceful energy of the pastoral scene.

Very gracious giveaway idea by the way.

The best to you in 2012!

Hi, Dalibor, I particularly love your barn scene. I am a country girl, now living in a big city, and I miss the simplicity and serenity of the rural lifestyle. The softness of this scene makes me feel melancholy and long for long summer days full of sno-cones, popsicles, and lemonade. It's really beautiful. I live in Florida, but even without snow, I also find Christmas and New Year's to be my favorite time of year. Happy Holidays to you and thanks for sharing and giving us this opportunity to own an original.

Sincerely,

Lisa A. Travis

Good grief, Dalibor, just when I think I'm doing OK, you inspire me to go out and do more. And better. That's the beauty of knowing other artists. You admire, you learn.

Happy new year.

The landscape instantly made me think of this quote from "Breakfast at Tiffany's":

"Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name!"

Well done...
