Winter in High Park

Winter has arrived in High Park. It was actually a warm day when I painted these, which made it pleasant to be out. I am excited that snow will fall soon. I have never painted it plein air, so that should be interesting.

I love trees, and even though summer is a great season to draw and paint them, their true faces are reveled  in winter. With their branches barren  you can almost compare it to a some sort of a cadaver, an anatomical structure...

nice work Dalibor, really like the bottom tree here. You've got a nice structure down. Nice atmospheric quality to all your work.
